Spare parts and maintenance
British Rema’s Spare Parts & Maintenance division provides a comprehensive after-sales service to help protect your investment in plant and equipment. As well as supplying spare parts, we service, repair and maintain all British Rema and other related equipment, whether for a small, specialist, laboratory-scale microniser or a major industrial plant.
Working with many of our customers on a planned maintenance basis, we ensure that their plant remains in optimal condition throughout its working life. For others, we conduct on-site inspections such as mechanical safety checks and mechanical condition assessments, and advise on upgrades, re-designs and process improvements to extend the life of equipment, ensuring the maximum return on investment.
Minor repairs can be carried out on site whilst major refurbishment or the full recondition of most British Rema machines takes place at our own workshops in the UK. We can arrange the shipping of equipment in these circumstances and can supervise the re-installation and re-commissioning of equipment as necessary.
When dealing with heavier equipment, such as ball-mill installations and other substantial rotary vessels, we work closely with our sister company, Phillips Kiln Services Europe to provide a comprehensive on-site repairs and maintenance service. Not limited to British Rema's own equipment, the expertise and international coverage of the Phillips' service engineers combined with the technical knowledge of British Rema enable us to provide a full service, covering the supply of spare parts, the repair of minor defects through to supervising the replacement of major sections and components.
