Equipment - Particle Size Control

Air classification can be defined as the means of 'modifying' the particle size distribution of a dry powder. More specifically it relates to the separation of a dry powder of mixed particle size into two distinct fractions: one above and one below a defined cut point. This will normally be considered to range from approximately one micron to around 300 microns.

No single design of Air Classifier is capable of satisfying the diverse range of applications to which air classification can be effectively applied and so British Rema have developed a range of equipment to offer several types and sizes of free and forced vortex units designed to meet the full range of applications.

Our in-house processing facilities and accompanying laboratory enable us to undertake pilot-scale trials on customers’ material to ensure the selection of the most appropriate equipment.
